Assisted by a robust safety patrol, swimmers navigate 1.2 miles through the harbor and channel, passing the iconic Butler Flats Lighthouse and New Bedford Hurricane Barrier. Swimmers are welcomed to the finish in Fairhaven with a beach party featuring live music, cooked to order pancakes, hot coffee and local beer!
Your $25 registration fee and $300 fundraising minimum also includes shuttle service, swim cap, event tee, and a locally custom-made finisher’s medal. Special rates available for youth and lifeguard participants.
