ABOUT THE EVENT
Celebrate Easter morning with a meaningful community tradition. The Fort Phoenix parking lot in Fairhaven will open at 5:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday to welcome worshipers for the annual Easter Sunrise Service, sponsored by the Interchurch Council of Greater New Bedford.
The service will begin at approximately 6:20 a.m. near the historic cannons overlooking the water.
This peaceful gathering is open to all and is disabled accessible.
