Join us for a day of Japanese culture, music, and tradition at the historic Whitfield-Manjiro Friendship House (Captain Whitfield’s home). Enjoy an open house, live performances, and hands-on activities for all ages.
Festival Highlights:
• Kamishibai (Japanese paper theater)
• Folk music & Shin Daiko (taiko drumming)
• Martial arts demonstration
• Ikebana (flower arranging)
• Origami & Japanese name-writing
• Kimono display & Japanese goods for sale
• Raffles featuring a Japanese kimono and themed gift baskets
