Join the Fairhaven Recreation Center for some REEL excitement at the Fishing Derby on Friday, August 1st from 1:00–5:00 PM at the beautiful Hoppy’s Landing (69 Goulart Memorial Drive, Fairhaven, MA)!
Open to ALL ages & experience levels!
We’ve got two age divisions:
Youth
Adults (16+)
Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just learning to cast, this is your chance to relax, compete, and reel in some fun.
Here’s what’s on the line:
Adaptive fishing equipment available — everyone can participate!
Support for first-timers — we'll help you bait, cast, and maybe even land your first fish!
Marine Education Fun with the amazing folks from the MA Division of Marine Fisheries — come learn about the creatures beneath the waves!
Grab your rods, bring your crew, and get ready for a fin-tastic afternoon of fishing, learning, and making memories!
