ABOUT THE EVENT

Get ready for a free, festive afternoon celebrating 214 years of Fairhaven!

Step inside one of Fairhaven’s most iconic buildings, honor the generations who built this town, and celebrate the community spirit that keeps it thriving today. Inside this historic building will be buzzing with live DJ music, historical trivia, talented local artisans, and the “Birthday Buddies” of the Fairhaven Animal Shelter. The celebration continues outdoors along Center Street with food, drinks (including adult beverages), sweet treats, and even more festive surprises.

Experience the thunder of a Village Militia cannon firing, cozy up by the fire with some s'mores, test your knowledge with historical trivia, and ring in Fairhaven’s birthday with a bell concert at the Unitarian Church.

Plus, meet very special guests from the sold-out play Rogers and Twain, performing in the very place where Mark Twain himself gave a speech — 132 years ago to the day.

Bring your friends. Bring your family. Come ready to celebrate!
