ABOUT THE EVENT
The Greater New Bedford Waterfront Task Force invites members of the commercial fishing community to a Free Health & Wellness Event on Monday, June 23rd, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Union Wharf, Port of Fairhaven.
This event is designed to bring important health and safety resources directly to the working waterfront. Free services will include:
Health screenings
Nutrition and health information
Overdose education
Narcan distribution
“Lifejackets for Fishermen” rebate information
Local, state, and federal regulations info
Whether you're a crew member, captain, or someone who supports the industry, stop by before heading out to sea! No registration necessary.
