Hot Club Cheese Roll Brings Gypsy Jazz to Shepherd Center
The Hot Club Cheese Roll, a renowned regional Gypsy Jazz group, will perform a mix of jazz standards and contemporary hits at The Shepherd Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Jan. 10.

ABOUT THE EVENT
The Hot Club Cheese Roll was founded by guitarist Jason Smith in 2016 to play pre-WWII jazz with the flavor of the legendary Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, who performed in the 1930s and ‘40s with The Quintette Du Hot Club de France in Paris, reinterpreting American jazz through Sinti, or gypsy, culture. The group features Smith on Guitar, Mark Russell on violin, John Birt on guitar and Tanner McMullen on upright bass.
Doors open at 6:30pm.
