Marsh Island Cleanup

Join the community effort to clean up Marsh Island in Fairhaven — and help lay the groundwork for a brand-new park system along the Acushnet River. This large-scale cleanup brings together multiple local environmental organizations with one shared goal: to restore the largest remaining stretch of undeveloped land along the Fairhaven–New Bedford Inner Harbor.

Volunteers are encouraged to participate in one or more cleanup days. Every helping hand makes a difference in creating a cleaner, healthier, and more accessible waterfront for everyone to enjoy.
