ABOUT THE EVENT
Join Hilda and Earle, directors of The Green Center in Falmouth, for a talk on creating sustainable systems to address pollution in coastal communities. They’ll explore how renewable energy, farming, fish cultivation, housing, and land design intersect, and work together to support a healthier environment. They’ll also share innovative, eco-friendly alternatives to traditional sewer systems—and how these ideas could help protect and clean Massachusetts waterways.
The Natural Heritage of Fairhaven series is a collaboration between the Millicent Library, the UUSF Green Sanctuaries, and Climate Reality MA SouthCoast. The Natural Heritage of Fairhaven Series offers free and ongoing programming exploring the rich connections between landscape, ecology, and culture in our coastal community. Through talks on biology, history, art, and more, the series aims to deepen our understanding and appreciation for the natural beauty of our town.
